 Varicose Surgery

Varicose veins are permanent enlargement, swelling and extension. Varices often appear as twisted swellings of varying diameters with bluish color beneath the leg skin. For many years, the aristocrats can remain out of sight without giving a witness. However, it may become painful over time. Swelling in the legs and chronic venous insufficiency may develop after a while. Sclerotherapy: Giving medicines that cause a specific reaction in the diseased vein to adhere the vein walls to each other

Laser yada Radiofrequency: Here, a certain kind of wire (catheter) is propagated into the diseased veins and the laser beam is radiated with a kind of radiofrequency energy inside the veins. In varicose vein surgery, the vein is removed by pulling a wire through the crotch and ankle or knee.

More information:
Varicose veins are permanent enlargement, swelling and extension. Varices often appear as twisted swellings of varying diameters with bluish color beneath the leg skin. Another type of varicose veins are varicose veins or varicose veins.

For many years, the aristocrats can remain out of sight without giving a witness. However, it may become painful over time. Swelling in the legs and chronic venous insufficiency may develop after a while. varis_cerrahisi_clip_image001 Blood clots may form in the veins with varicose veins, and in this condition known as thrombophlebitis, leg pain, swelling and redness occur.
Varicella is seen mostly in ladies. Those who are heirs to his family are more likely to be heirs. Varices are more common during pregnancy. Other risk factors are obesity, cigarette smoking, long standing.
. Varices are seen in the legs,
. Leg pain and itching,
. Leg burning,
. Night cramps on legs
. A constant sense of discomfort in the legs,

Reasons:
The varicose vein often develops as a result of the deterioration of the valves that allow blood to flow in only one direction in the veins.

In the human body there are many veins of blood just below the skin. The duty of these vessels is to deliver the dirty blood to the heart. For some reasons, these vessels are stretched, enlarged, and deteriorated in their function and appearance at any stage of life.

Arrhythmia is the irreversible and abnormal expansion of vesicular vessels. These veins appear as blue and curled swellings under the skin on the feet and in the stomach and complaints increase with standing and long sitting.

Varities can be seen in different phases of life in 15-20% of male population and in 30-35% of female population.

Pain and pressure complaints arise as feet progress. Untreated end stage varicose veins can lead to a wound in the ankles.

Many theories have been put forward in the formation of varicosities, but the only common cause is that the functions of the valves in the veins of the veins have been impaired or damaged. The valves in the veins allow the blood to flow right into the vein, that is towards the heart, and prevent it from escaping backwards. The reason for the loss of the functions of the valves is not fully understood. Among these ideas are hereditary causes (if there are survivors in the family) or weaknesses acquired later on the vein walls.

Among the many factors that increase the variability include:1. Pregnancy: Blood volume increases with pregnancy. It also makes it difficult for the baby to push up the blood from the lower parts of the body. Hormones secreted during an increase in the amount of Hamilleil also weaken the vascular walls and provide the basis for varicose veins. Varicose veins can disappear after about 1 year of pregnancy, but subsequent pregnancies can lead to persistent varicose veins.
2. Standing for a long time and working standing
3. Overweight
4. Smoking
Age 5: As varicose can be seen in people of all ages, the likelihood of varicose veins increases as age progresses.
6. Varities may arise during menstruation in women or may only complain in these situations.
What complaints can be seen in patients with varicose veins:
Varicose veins can be cosmetically uncomfortable as vascular structures that can be seen under the skin and are raised. Varicose veins cause weight, pain and sometimes itching complaints. Burning on the feet Complaints increase with long working days or with long standing. Sometimes it can be over pain with standing up or night cramps can be seen. Varicose veins are more prone to superficial thrombophlebitis. If this problem occurs, there may be redness, pain, tenderness and increased temperature on the varicose veins. The risk of varicose veins in deep veins is increased if there is little risk of varicose veins. In these cases, the patient has sudden and severe pain and swelling in his or her foot. This situation should be evaluated by a physician immediately. Even though varicose veins may not cause any complaints.

Your doctor will ask you about your complaints, your work and home life, and your family story. An examination called Duplex Ultrason may be required after the examination of the varicose veins. With this technique, the varicose veins are displayed and the direction of the blood flow in them is evaluated. This is a painless and relatively easy examination and the results are of great importance in terms of directing treatment.

The appearance of varicose veins in the limb is often sufficient for diagnosis. Color Doppler ultrasound and / or plethysmography should be performed, however, to understand the cause of varicose veins.

Treatment:
Untreated heirs usually progress. Your doctor will give you a treatment plan with the help of Duplex Ultrason after the first examination. For varicose veins in the initial phase, varicose socks (elastic socks) and medical treatments such as lifting the feet as far as possible can be tried.

For widespread varicella in more advanced stages, one of the following treatment methods may be proposed:
1. Sclerotherapy: In this method of treatment, the vascular surgeon injects a chemical substance into the varicose veins with the help of a very thin needle. This leads to varicose veins closing and, after a period of time, becoming a hardened connective tissue. This method is mainly used for varicose veins and has been shown to be extremely effective for this type of varicose veins.

The heirs get worse unless they are treated. Treatments that are performed without intervention are the lifting of the legs and varicose veins only help to alleviate complaints.
The definitive treatment of varicose veins is often the removal of varicose veins.2. Endovascular Ablation (Laser): In this method, heat or laser energy is applied to the varicose veins with the help of a cable and the varicose veins are closed. The varicose veins should be relatively flat and the wall thinner and smaller in diameter. It can be done with local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Because the vessel diameter is relatively large in many varicose veins, the amount of energy required to remove them from the body is very high and the leg may damage the skin and surrounding nerves and other adjacent tissues. It is a relatively new method and its long-term results are not yet known. Recurrence rate may be higher than open surgical methods.
Laser beam is radically destroyed by radiofrequency methods. Here, with some special wires (catheters) that are advanced into the diseased veins, there is a kind of inner part of the veins with the laser field radiofrequency energy.
In these methods, a laser catheter is placed in the diseased safen vein at the knee level and the laser is energized when the inguinal line is reached and the catheter is slowly pulled out. In this way, the vein in the area where the catheter is located is closed with heat. This method is performed by local anesthesia, which is called allenescent anesthesia and is given only around the vein. If there are varicose veins in the leg of the patient after the procedure, they are removed from the small incisions described below. After applying Laser and Radiofrequency method, it is wrapped with elastic bandage and varis socks are applied for several weeks. Both methods have similar success rates as the surgical method which is the classical treatment method. However, according to surgeons, patients can get up very quickly and return to their daily work in a few days with less pain and redness.
In the bottom image, the vein is closed by giving laser energy to the catheter that is advanced into the varicose vein.

3. Variceal operation (stripping): This treatment method is usually surgical removal of vessels that have survived within the operating room conditions. During operation, abnormal bowels are removed with two small incisions at the top of knee and knee level. The operation is usually done with general anesthesia and takes about 30 minutes. Patients may stay overnight in the hospital or be discharged the same day. Work and return to normal life is possible after about 1 week. The long-term outcome for progressive varicose veins is the best-known and most effective treatment method. The recurrence rate of varices after this operation is less than 5%.

Varicose vein Removal of the vein is performed here with a wire advancing from the crotch to the ankle or knee. This method is performed by spinal anesthesia (a needle) in the general ward. They are taken out together with the heirs. The process takes about 30-60 minutes and the leg is wrapped with elastic straps. Patients need to wear varicose trousers for several months after the procedure.

Removal of varicose veins from small cuts:
Here, varicose veins are removed by immersing the hook-like hooks in 1 mm holes that are opened at the bottom. This way the post-operative trail is reduced the most.
